Hello musicians and parents,
I sincerely hope that this message finds each of you safe and well. Despite the many challenges of the past year, Ventus Machina has managed to record and release our second album and is looking forward to several live concerts (for limited numbers) in early May. We are feeling positive and hopeful that our summer workshops will be able to go ahead with some slight modifications.
We are making plans in a way that will allow Wind Masters' Workshop 2021 to go ahead this coming July 12-16 as long as government regulations allow and following strict operational protocols. We will be operating at the First Church of the Nazarene, at 21 Fieldcrest E1G 1T1, which is a venue with multiple large spaces to allow for physical distancing.
Registration is now open.
Hoping to see you this summer!
Yours in Music,
Christie and Ventus Machina

The Wind Masters’ Workshop is a week-long intensive chamber music program for wind and brass students ages 12 through 22 who have studied their instrument for 2 or more years, or who are recommended to us by their music teacher.
Students will be engaged and challenged on a variety of levels, including small ensemble playing, musicianship, performance and fundamental wind-playing techniques. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled faculty members, guest artists, and to expand their mind-body connection as it pertains to performance through our daily physical activity sessions. Each student will receive a minimum of two thirty-minute private lessons during the week and will be assigned to both mixed and like-instrument ensembles. (trio, quintet, flute choir, oboe band, etc.)
